What's Next!
Lisa is working on DEFINITELY MAYBE, a young adult novel. Maybe (she was named after her mother's favorite mascara -- Maybelline) can no longer bear to stay in Kissimmee, FL where her mother runs a charm school for beauty pageant contestants. So when something to terrible to speak of happens, she runs away to Hollywood to find the father who doesn't even know she exists. (Spring 2009, Arthur A. Levine Books/Scholastic)
She's also busy writing JUST BOBBY, a chapter book series. Robert Carver Wentworth-Chan is a very sincere, very well-mannered, very accident/incident prone fourth grader. He lives in Rancho Rosetta, CA with his mother who works in a huge office, his father, a former pro football player recently turned stay-at-home dad, his mood-swing teen jock of a big sister, and his girly little sister, who adores him.
